School ERP

An ERP a school can actually run, without an IT department.

Most ERP software sold to schools was written for factories and translated afterwards. It asks for a project manager, a consultant and six months. Synthixx Campus does the same job — students, fees, attendance, exams, staff, payroll and every campus in one account — and a principal can set it up in an afternoon.

What a school ERP has to cover

A school is not one system. It is a fee register, an attendance register, a result sheet, a timetable, a staff file, a salary sheet and a cupboard of documents — usually kept by different people who each hold one piece of the truth. An ERP is simply the decision to keep all of it in one place, so that a question like “how much did class 6 actually pay this month” has one answer instead of three.

  • Students and admissions

One record per child: class, roll number, family, documents and history, kept across sessions rather than retyped each year.

  • Fees and accounts

Fee heads per class and per campus, monthly generation, payments by JazzCash, EasyPaisa, bank transfer or cash, receipts and an arrears list that matches the ledger.

  • Attendance

Marked in class or scanned at the gate, with the parent told the same morning instead of the same evening.

  • Exams and results

Marks per subject, grades, position, and a printed result card with the school's own letterhead.

  • Timetable

Periods per class and per teacher, with clashes caught when the timetable is written rather than on Monday morning.

  • HR and payroll

Staff records, salaries, allowances and deductions, and a payslip that does not come out of a separate Excel file.

  • Documents and certificates

B-Forms, birth certificates and past results in a private vault, and school-leaving, character and bonafide certificates with a serial number and a QR code anyone can verify.

  • Portals

Admin, teacher, parent and student each get their own view, so the office stops being the only way to find anything out.

More than one campus, without more than one system

  1. 1Add the campusA branch is a campus under the same school, not a second account with a second bill.
  2. 2Give it its own classes and feesClass 1 in the main branch and class 1 in the new branch can charge different amounts, because here they usually do.
  3. 3Attach the staff to itA campus admin sees their own branch. The owner sees every branch, and can compare them.
  4. 4Read the school as one or as manyCollection, attendance and arrears can be read for one campus or for the whole school, from the same screen.

What it replaces

  • The register that only one person can read

Handwriting, pencil corrections and a book that cannot be in two offices at once.

  • Four Excel files that disagree

Fees in one, attendance in another, results in a third, and a fourth nobody admits to keeping.

  • The WhatsApp group as a record

Announcements and homework in a group that scrolls away is not a record. Families get their own screen, and the school keeps the history.

  • Software priced per student

A per-student price punishes a school for growing. This one does not: it is a fixed price per school, in rupees.

  • A system that dies with a computer

Everything is stored centrally, encrypted in transit, and backed up every night with thirty days of history.

An honest word about what it is not

Synthixx Campus is not an accounting package: it records what the school charged and what arrived, not your general ledger or your tax filing. It is not a payment gateway either — parents pay the school the way they already do, and the office records the transaction against the right child, so the money stays in the school’s own account. And it is not a learning management system: homework, announcements and results are there, but it does not host courses or video lessons.

If any of those is what you are shopping for, say so on the contact page and we will tell you plainly whether this is the wrong product for you.

Questions schools ask about ERP

What is the difference between a school ERP and school management software?

In practice, none worth paying extra for. "ERP" is the word used when the system also covers staff, payroll and accounts rather than only students and fees. Synthixx Campus covers both, so you do not buy a second product later.

Does it handle more than one campus?

Yes. Campuses sit under one school, each with its own classes, students, staff and fee amounts, and the owner can look at one branch or at all of them together. Staff can be limited to the campus they work at.

Can the accounts department and the teachers use the same system?

They use the same system and see different things. Roles decide what opens: an accountant reaches fees and payments, a teacher reaches their own classes, and a parent reaches their own child.

Do we have to move everything on day one?

No. Most schools start with students and fees, add attendance the following week, and bring exams in before the term ends. Nothing forces you to import a module you are not ready for.

What about our existing data in Excel?

Students, classes and fee amounts import from a spreadsheet. The guide shows the columns, and the import reports which rows it could not read instead of silently dropping them.

Is it priced per student?

No. It is priced per school, in rupees. A school of 900 students pays what a school of 900 students next door pays, and growing does not raise the bill mid-year.
