A child who leaves home and never reaches school is the one thing no register catches until the evening. Synthixx Campus marks attendance in class or at the gate, and tells the parent the moment it happens — on their phone, in their portal and by email.
Two ways to mark attendance
The register, faster
The teacher opens their class, taps present, absent or leave, and saves. It takes less time than a paper register and it cannot be lost.
QR at the gate
Each student has a card with a QR code. Scan it as they walk in and the arrival is recorded with the exact time, with the parent notified straight away.
Both feed the same record. A school can scan at the gate in the morning and still let teachers correct the register in class — the register remains the source of truth.

Questions about attendance
Do we need special scanning hardware?
No. Any phone with a camera can scan the QR card — the person at the gate uses the phone in their pocket.
Are the alerts SMS messages?
No. They are phone notifications, portal messages and email, so there is no per-message cost for the school.
What if a child forgets their card?
The teacher marks the register as usual; the card is a shortcut, not the only way in.
Can we print the ID cards ourselves?
Yes — cards print ten to an A4 sheet at standard ID size, with the QR code and the school's name on them.
Can a wrong mark be fixed?
Yes, by the teacher or the office, and the correction is recorded with who changed it.
Does it work on a cheap Android phone?
Yes. The whole system is built to run on ordinary phones and slow connections.
